Chercha Terms of Service

Version 1.0. Effective date: 27 September 2026. Please read them carefully: by creating an account and subscribing you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Chercha.

1. Who we are

Chercha is a service of Smart Dynamic Systems LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under number 16430324, with its registered office at 66 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NA (United Kingdom). Contact: support@getchercha.com (English) or ayuda@getchercha.com (Spanish). In these terms, “Chercha”, “we” or “our” means that company.

2. What Chercha is

Chercha is a subscription app for iPhone that teaches you the English people really speak in your region: expressions, phrases for everyday situations, local pronunciation and slang, with audio in the regional accent, a review, a widget and a daily notification. It is digital content for educational purposes. It is not an official course and does not award any qualification, certificate or recognised level.

3. Adults only (18+)

Chercha is only for people aged 18 or over. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older. The content includes colloquial, vulgar or offensive language as it is really used, which you only see if you turn it on. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will close their account and delete their data.

4. Your account

5. Subscription, free trial and automatic renewal

6. Right to cancel (cooling-off)

If you are a consumer in the UK or the European Union, you normally have 14 days to cancel a distance contract. Because Chercha gives you immediate access to digital content, when you start the trial or subscription we ask you to expressly agree to immediate access and to acknowledge that you thereby lose your right to cancel, to the extent the law allows. This does not affect your rights if the content is faulty (section 7) or any refund Apple grants under its own terms.

7. Faulty content

If you are a consumer in the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires digital content to be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it is not, you can ask us to repair or replace it and, if that is not possible, for a price reduction. Email support@getchercha.com. In other countries you have the equivalent rights under your local law.

8. The AI welcome call

9. Chercha content

10. Your content

11. Acceptable use

You must not: use Chercha if you are under 18; share your account to avoid paying; misuse the AI call (for example, to make it do something else or to generate cost); reverse engineer, scrape or bypass security measures; upload content that is illegal, hateful, harassing or infringes others’ rights; or use the service commercially without our written permission.

12. Referral programme and ideas box

The “Gift a month to a friend” programme and the ideas box have their own conditions, which form part of these terms: Referral Programme Terms and Ideas Box Rules, at getchercha.com/en/referrals.

13. Suspension and termination

14. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything the law does not allow us to limit, nor your rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable or for business losses, because Chercha is for personal use.

15. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we will tell you in the app and by email, if you gave us one, at least 30 days before the change applies. If you do not agree, you can cancel your subscription before that date. Minor changes or changes required by law may apply sooner. Previous versions are at getchercha.com/legal/history.

16. Apple

You download Chercha from the App Store, so Apple’s standard licensed application end user licence agreement (EULA) also applies. These terms are an agreement between you and Smart Dynamic Systems LTD, not Apple.

17. Governing law, courts and language

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring a claim in its courts. These terms are available in English and Spanish with the same content; the version in the language in which you subscribed applies.

18. Contact and complaints

support@getchercha.com or ayuda@getchercha.com. We reply within 24 working hours, and within 12 hours for billing issues. If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it.
